Concept by which one estimates when the moment will come when one KWH of electricity generated by solar energy will cost the same as one KWH generated with fossil fuels. Grid parity is the point at which renewable electricity is equal to or cheaper than grid power, or namely when renewable energy can produce power at the same cost as fossil fuel.
