Rock that is composed mostly of carbon mineral

The Ministry of National Infrastructure and the PUA decided in August 2009 to promote an experimental program to reduce electricity consumption during peak hours. The program is for time of use consumers. According to the program, consumers must reduce their consumption by 20% during peak hours compared to their consumption during the same time the previous year in order to join and in return will only pay 90% of the tariff

Carbon sequestration is the term given to a suite of technologies that can remove CO2 from large point sources, such as power plants, oil refineries and industrial processes, or from the air itself. The CO2 can then be stored in geologic formations such as depleted oil and gas reservoirs, deep coal seams or saline reservoirs. It can also be stored in plants, trees and soils by increasing their natural CO2 uptake. Because carbon sequestration holds the potential both to reduce emissions of CO2 from point sources and to remove CO2 from the air, sequestration research has grown over the last five years from small-scale, largely conceptual studies, to one of the highest single technology priorities. >.

A refining process using controlled heat and pressure with catalysts to rearrange certain hydrocarbon molecules, thereby converting paraffinic and naphthenic type hydrocarbons (e.g., low octane gasoline boiling range fractions) into petrochemical feedstocks and higher octane stocks suitable for blending into finished gasoline

A group of minerals found mostly in limestone and dolostone that includes aragonite, calcite and dolomite. Calcite is the most abundant and important of the carbonate minerals

A measure of the detonation of diesel fuel. Cetane ignites very easily under compression; for this reason, it is assigned a cetane number of 100, and serves as a reference for other fuel mixtures.

One without realistic purchase alternatives. In the energy sector, such a customer buys from the local utility even when it has the legal right to buy from its competitors. In the Israeli LPG sector the MNI wants to ease the ability of customers to move between one supplier and another

One of the methods of transaction between the ESP and an IPP. Under this method an IPP may also sell the energy it generates to its customers during periods when the ESP does not require this energy

Salt water (especially sodium chloride)
