An ortophoto map is an aerial photograph which by metrical features completely corresponds to the map of the same scale. The procedure for producing ortophoto maps is faster thus more cost-effective than classical or digital maps. The production of an ortophoto map is based on oriented digital photogrammetric image and digital relief model. Once made there is no need to do it again, so producing maps with new images is very fast which enables continuous monitoring of special appearance and events.
