TAHAL Group is a leading international engineering concern. Founded in 1952, TAHAL is a pioneer in the fields of planning, development and management of water resources in Israel and has to date carried out innumerable projects in more than 50 countries. Services are offered at various levels of activity, including master plans; feasibility studies; detailed design; tender document preparation; project management; construction supervision; full Turnkey projects implementation including design, construction and financing, construction implementation as a main contractor and BOT/BOO projects including equity investment. TAHAL is fully owned by the Kardan Ltd. holding company. In December 2008 Tahal won the MNI tender for the planning and siting of an LNG facility in Israel. In August 2009, Tahal’s project to set up a 300 MW pumped storage power station at the Kochav Hayarden area was declared as a project of national infrastructure. The project is to cost 225 million euro. Operations undertaken through the intermediary of two subsidiaries, Tahal Group Assets, that is active in the field of infrastructure such as desalination facilities, sewage treatment facilities and municipal water grids. Most of its operations focus in China, Turkey and Israel. The second subsidiary is Tahal Group Projects deals with the planning and implementation of projects.
