A long, continuous length of pipe wound on a spool. The technology allows tubing to be manufactured in a continuous coil without joints. Coiled tubing is inserted into the well down the production casing without the need for tongs, slips, or elevators. The pipe is straightened prior to pushing into a wellbore and rewound to coil the pipe back onto the transport and storage spool.
